discovery

we begin by learning about you, your lifestyle, preferences, and overall disposition to guide design decisions that align naturally with how you live.

design

fabric selection is shaped by occasion and climate. this phase focuses on narrowing design choices to a clear, considered set.

fit

dozens of measurements are recorded and used to determine fit based on your physique, the garment, and any specific fit requests. this information is saved for future reference.

creation

your measurements are sent to our production house, where your garment is crafted through either our modern sewing process or our fully handmade option.

arrival

you’ll be notified when your garment is ready for its first fitting. any necessary alterations are handled locally, followed by a confirmation fitting or nationwide shipping.

This is the complete clothing design process at our private studio.

Rolando will walk you through the process; the discovery phase where we learn more about you and your vision, the styling phase where we design your custom clothing, and the fitting where we determine the best fit based on a variety of factors. We have two studio cats that may or may not be present, so please let us know if you have feline allergies so we can accommodate.

This is the clothing design experience brought to your home or office. There will be a pre-appointment call to help Rolando develop a curated selection of fabrics and style choices. The concierge appointment is conducted just like the studio appointment, where decisions on fabric and style are made, measurements are taken, and the creation of the clothing can begin. Rolando can also provide personalized styling advice using what is already in your wardrobe.

A deposit is required to reserve a concierge appointment and will be credited toward the final invoice. Deposits are refundable with at least 48 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled appointment.

This option is best used to determine the fit of an already made roblero product, or to discuss the intricacies of what you’re considering having made, sometimes because of complexity of the vision or if it’s pre-planning for a more extensive appointment such as a wedding or corporate gifting experience.

Most of our clients find us through someone they already trust: a friend, a partner, a colleague wearing something made by us. That kind of connection means something to us. It says something about the care people take in sharing what they value.

As a small way of honoring that, we've created a simple program to thank both sides of the introduction.

How it works

When you refer someone new to roblero, they'll receive 15% off their first order of $950 or more. Once they place that order, you'll receive 15% off your next order of $950 or more.

When the new client books their appointment, or during the appointment itself, they simply mention the name of the person who referred them. We'll note the credit and take care of everything from there.

Design appointments take place at our Upper West Side studio. Please contact us if you do not see your preferred time.
