what makes us different?

Our approach to design combines guidance, education, and an understanding of how clothing is perceived. Our design guides make each decision easy to understand and enjoyable, while our curated fabric collections help you find the right material based on color, weight, texture, climate, and occasion. Throughout the process, we also consider the psychology behind what you wear, including your occupation, industry, age, lifestyle, the setting, and how you want to be perceived. Together, these elements give us a clear way to guide the design process and help you develop a wardrobe that reflects who you are and who you want to become.

You'll have access to our complete collection of fabrics, design guides, and examples while we work through ideas together in a relaxed, private setting. It's the best option for first-time clients, wedding attire, wardrobe planning, or anyone looking to explore the possibilities of custom clothing.

For those who prefer to meet at home or the office, we'll bring the experience to you.

Before your appointment, we'll prepare a focused selection of fabrics and design options based on your goals, allowing us to work efficiently without sacrificing personalization. We can also review your existing wardrobe to identify opportunities for additions that integrate naturally with what you already own.

Some conversations don't require a measuring tape.

Virtual appointments are ideal for discussing ideas, answering questions, reviewing fabrics or designs, or planning larger projects before meeting in person. They're also a convenient option for returning clients and those located outside New York.

Design appointments take place at our Upper West Side studio. Please contact us if you do not see your preferred time.

1. Discovery

Every appointment begins with understanding you. We discuss your lifestyle, profession, personal style, and the occasions you're dressing for to create a garment that feels authentic to the way you live.

2. design

With a clear understanding of your needs, we guide you through a thoughtfully curated selection of fabrics and design details. Every recommendation is made with season, occasion, and long-term versatility in mind, making the process focused, enjoyable, and easy to navigate.

3. fit

We take an extensive set of measurements while evaluating posture, body proportions, and personal fit preferences. This creates a pattern unique to you and serves as the foundation for future orders.

4. creation

Once your design is finalized, your order is sent to our production house, where it's made using either our standard construction or fully handmade craftsmanship, depending on your selection.

5. arrival

When your garment arrives, we'll invite you back for a fitting to ensure every detail is exactly as intended. Any final refinements are completed locally before your finished garment is ready to become part of your wardrobe.
