Description

The blazer originated as a sporting jacket that was closely associated with a rowing club whose bright red jackets were said to “blaze” in color. It's commonly designed in the British naval style, in a dark blue fabric with metal buttons, but the design has become one that is so versatile that it can truly align with a variety of use cases. Blazers are typically made in a wool hopsack, a fabric that's great for travel because it's breathable with a high wrinkle resistance, but can be made in denim, corduroy, cashmere, and even silk. The blazer is a template on which we can apply many different design elements to create a jacket that can lean heavily formal or extremely casual.
