Description

The peacoat was primarily worn by sailors for protection against cold and sea spray. They're typically made from dense wool fabrics developed for maritime use, but considering they're now often worn in cities, can be made of all kinds of fabrics such as pure cashmere, tweed, and heavy cotton. The design is always a double-breasted front, napoleon lapel that can be wrapped around the neck, and a center vent for mobility. There are many customizations that can be made to a peacoat, such as the pocket shape and the shoulder structure, that can be implemented without compromising its heritage.
